About Our Board

The CityMatCH Board of Directors is composed of member representatives who hold a unique vision for the future of urban MCH and participate in developing the course of action for CityMatCH.

The Board defines the mission of the organization and establishes policy that outlines how the organization accomplishes its mission of promoting community health care. Members serve three-year terms and work closely with staff to ensure CityMatCH fulfills its commitment to strengthening public health leadership nationwide.

Leadership Structure

Our Board of Directors represents diverse regions across the United States, with members organized by geographic divisions to ensure comprehensive national representation. Board members are elected from CityMatCH's membership of over 160 maternal and child health professionals from city and county health departments.

Board members participate in various committees focused on strategic planning, governance, program development, and advancing community health care initiatives. Their expertise and leadership are invaluable in guiding our organization's direction and impact in urban communities.
